Live Scan Process:

  1. Go to Capital Live Scan website.
  2. Enter email and click “Proceed”. A one-time code will be emailed to you.
  3. Enter code and click “Proceed”.
  4. Click “Get Fingerprinted” at the top of the page.
  5. Enter CALPIAEMPL into the Group Code.
  6. Complete the form as follows:
    1. Reason for Application: [Enter job title/position]
    2. Institution: [Enter which institution you will be working at]
  7. Click “Next”.
  8. Complete personal information then click “Next”.
  9. Enter zip code and choose a location [Click Schedule Appointment].
  10. Choose date and time then click “Next”.
  11. Verify appointment then click “Next”.
  12. Verify information and agree to terms.
